The Go-Go’s formed in Los Angeles, California
Initially consisting of Belinda Carlisle (vocals), Jane Wiedlin (guitar, vocals), Margot Olavarria (bass) and Elissa Bell (drums). Later in the year, Charlotte Caffey (lead guitar, keyboards) was added to The Go-Go’s.
